Welcome to Fast Bible Basics, a free daily Bible reader that explains scripture in plain English for the curious. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What Fast Bible Basics is

Fast Bible Basics provides plain-English explanations of and commentary on the Bible, along with the text of passages and links to read them in full. It is an educational and informational resource for general audiences. It is offered free of charge.

2. AI-generated content

The explanations and summaries in the app are generated using artificial intelligence and are not individually fact-checked by a person. They may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and they are not a substitute for reading the actual text of scripture or for the guidance of a qualified scholar, teacher, or religious leader. We show the passage text (from the public-domain World English Bible) and link out to it precisely so you can check the source for yourself. Do not rely on the app's explanations as authoritative.

3. Not professional or spiritual advice

Fast Bible Basics presents historical, cultural, and scholarly perspectives alongside religious tradition, and aims to do so neutrally without favoring any belief or tradition. Nothing in the app is religious, spiritual, theological, legal, psychological, or other professional advice, and it should not be treated as such. Any decisions you make based on the app are your own responsibility.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt or interfere with it, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or copy or redistribute its content for commercial purposes without permission.

Bible passages are drawn from the public-domain World English Bible. You may use the app for your own personal reading. The app links to third-party websites, such as Bible Gateway, that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites. Following external links is at your own discretion.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete, or error-free, or that the app will always be available.
